Everyone loves online shopping, and I’m no exception to this weakness! There’s something magical about hunting down the best bargains you can find without leaving home (or work, or at the cafe you’re lounging at….)

So when I heard about the launch of Althea Korea, and the awesome-possum offers that they have (not to mention having a certain friend telling me how darned cheap their prices are if compared to the shops in Malaysia) I couldn’t resist taking a look at their list of products on sale.

Not to mention the excellent sales they’ve been having during their first week of launch. OMG yes, much wins! 😀 A pity I didn’t have the time to post anything then, but I wanted to focus more on unboxing my own package instead of talking about the company only (customer experience is important y’all!)

So what does one do when there’s just too many good deals to resist?

Find other victims friends to shop with, of course! (It wasn’t too hard to find willing volunteers hehehehe)

I placed my order on July 1, as I wanted the Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel (it was on sale for RM1) and awaited anxiously for my package to arrive. According to their website, it takes up to 7 working days for the package to arrive upon order confirmation. My order arrived on July 9; the massive influx of orders meant it took them some time to process all orders. As it is, my order was processed and sent out on July 6, so that’s a 3 days shipping time for me! Whoa :O

So lo and behold, the unboxing session!

As you may have noticed, everything is PINK. I’m not a big fan of this colour, but I have to say I was tickled pink when I saw these boxes (pun intended). Packaging is really well secured. The boxes (middle photo) are secured tightly with bubble wrap, and each item in the box are bubble-wrapped too! Any loose ends are stuffed with pastel pink tissue paper (for prettiness I presume?).

My verdict?

A total YES if you’re looking for Korean skincare and cosmetics products! Not only are they efficient, all items arrive in tip-top condition too 🙂
